I’m a California-based travel enthusiast, thrift store regular, and self-proclaimed queen of Command strips. I created TravelerTale to share the real, unfiltered journey of trying to live beautifully—without going broke in the process.

I wasn’t always the girl with color-coded packing cubes and peel-and-stick wallpaper tricks. In fact, my first apartment had mismatched furniture, zero storage, and the kind of overhead lighting that made everything look slightly haunted.
At the same time, I was saving every penny I could to travel. Think: $28 roundtrip flights across Europe, sleeping in train stations (just once, I swear), and trying to stretch one suitcase across five climates.
Somehow, I fell in love with both lifestyles—the freedom of travel and the comfort of home. And I realized something: you don’t have to choose between the two.
That’s how TravelerTale was born.
